Major Goals and Responsibilities:  Our Servers will attempt to create a service experience that is customized to the needs of each guest. They will listen to our guests and provide constructive feedback and action. An intimate knowledge of products on the beverage lists, menus, and food preparation is expected. Servers must practice efficiency in service skills, hospitality, and understand that as a sales force maximizing product sales is a priority. Throughout the shift the server is responsible for what happens at their tables. It is expected that anything that can't be taken care of personally will be delegated. All staff members should pre-bus and reset their sections according to the side work sheets.


Expected Work Shift; Wednesday - Sunday 3:30pm - 11pm


Behavioral Traits: Must be intelligent, knowledgeable, well informed, and action oriented. Servers are expected to have the ability to work as part of a team. A positive, friendly demeanor and the ability to stay calm and poised under pressure is a must for success in this position. Servers must be able to prioritize tasks, multitask, assign work, and know when to talk and when to listen. Our servers must have the ability to analyze the needs of the guests and react appropriately. Essential waiting skills and proper service steps including wine service and dining room etiquette are expected to be utilized. Servers must be punctual, dressed, and prepared for each shift.


Summary: Servers are responsible for taking all food and drink orders and running food. Our Servers are responsible for learning and utilizing selling strategies to achieve check average expectations. This position requires working closely with a high volume of demanding clientele and coordinated teamwork with other staff members. Servers must not only be congenial, but able to appropriately interact with customers and fellow team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Treat each guest as though they are guests in our home.
  2. We will try to anticipate the needs of our guests before they realize that there is a need.
  3. The entire restaurant staff is expected to communicate effectively with one another as well as our guests.
  4. All Servers are to learn and utilize selling strategies to maximizing guest checks.
  5. Our staff must actively study and seek new knowledge of food, wine, hospitality, and local valley information in order to use this personal knowledge to act as a guide for our guests.
  6. Continually troubleshoot the front and back of the house for any problems, help coordinate solutions, and follow up to ensure successful resolutions.
  7. Responsible for all opening, closing, and weekly side work duties.
  8. Maintains strong relationship with members and resolves any and all customer complaints
  9. Commit to continual visual inspections of the restaurant (including facility, equipment, and cleanliness).
  10. Other duties as assigned
